Downstream from the retreat, the Sprague is generally calm, flowing into the Williamson. The Williamson then flows into Klamath Lake.

from the retreat, which is highly recommended since the first few miles both above and below the retreat are the most scenic as a whole. While
the river is generally calm downstream,
immediately upstream offers more
